Ever wondered how to make this javascript duo not slow down your user’s experience? Well you have to compress them and pack them. Yahoo has some really good tools for that (YUI Compressor). You need to have a working version of Java and some patience. I wonder why they aren’t just available for download in an optimized form already…
I just went through the steps to optimize the latest versions of Prototype and Scriptaculous for this site. The following JS contains both, prototype 1.6.3 and scriptaculous 1.8.3 packed into one file.

I was just answering a challenge quiz on Asia that Google Maps is promoting and I learned about the Titum Arum flower… wow! It’s amazing to learn what the world has and be aware that I could have not imagined it if I wouldn’t have known it. I must go find this flower. It’s on my list of upcoming quests. I can’t wait to be in Asia.
