About

weston

My passion is the intersection of people and technology: how people can better live, explore and achieve their goals through the use of technology.

Since October 2020 I have been focused on enabling adoption of e-mobility at a massive scale. As the first corporate venture of ABB, we exist to create software that enables the operations of thousands of electric vehicles responding in real-time to the challenges of non-stop operations.

Before this, I was working on bringing affordable, convenient and sustainable transportation to large cities with COUP -- a corporate venture of Bosch and considered a pioneer and role-model in door-to-door mobility.

The last company I co-founded is WunderAgent: A next-generation real-estate agent and property rental service for all of Germany. If you are looking to buy or sell property, check us out!

Other highlights of my professional carreer include: Programming VR & AR before it was cool; Working for Microsoft and being invited to a BBQ at Bill Gates' house; Building the CouchSurfing travel community as the 3rd employee and CTO; Meeting the nice folks of the world's Space industry; Living in places as diverse as Mexico, Germany, USA (incl. Alaska), Netherlands, Thailand, Costa Rica, Argentina, Turkey, Indonesia and traveling over 50 countries.
