And with yesterday’s fireworks in Berlin, the year begins! This is going to be an exciting year I’m sure. For one, the world is going to end.

Personally, I have made many changes to my lifestyle and will now begin to experience the day-to-day of them. I’m not at CouchSurfing anymore. I’m not traveling all the time anymore. I’m building a new life in one of my favorite cities: Berlin. I have joined a start-up here called 9flats.com that continues with what I’ve been working on for so long: removing obstacles to traveling and getting to know other cultures.

I swim and swim to where I want to go

and I end up at a different place than where I thought I was going.
