My stay in Netherlands prolonged way more than I expected. It turns out that I was invited to participate in a project to change the world, yes change the world: one couch at a time.

The organization is CouchSurfing.com and they promote bringing the world closer by promoting intercultural exchange through hospitality exchange. The project is interesting and has distracted me from continuing my journey for a while… I’ve met the people and liked them. Soon I’ll be back on the road though combining this amazing new found group with my personal traveling agenda (or lack of it).

At the moment I write this it feels like the world is mine to discover.

No mom, I’m not high :)

Weston, we can’t thank you enough for “extending your stay”. You’ve really grown into your own unique member on this team and I’m constantly impressed by your professionalism, standard of quality, and positive communication style. I don’t know how you’ve come so far, but keep doing exactly what you’re doing. Smiles all the way my friend….if you do it, do it with passion.

If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is because everything would be what it isn't.
And contrary-wise; what it is it wouldn't be, and what it wouldn't be, it would. You see? -- Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland
