During last weeks Tuesday night out I got appointed on organizing a soccer evening… I followed through. Yesterday the Collective, some members of the local CS community and some guests joined in on the fun!

I sent an email out 3 days before and was glad from the response I had:

The Rotterdam Collective will get there around 6:30 and the game will start around 7pm. It’s not a professional game, it’s not a very sporty thing either… it’s all about having fun and enjoying a nice evening together. So come join!

Bring your balls! And if you’ve got a ball then bring it as well!

Directions: the CS Soccer Arena ;) Where’s that I hear? Simple: click here!
The event was a total success. About 14 people arrived in total. Some names: Chris, Naz, Jim, Merit, Timo, Tiina, Aldo, Fedde, Morad, Willem, Arthur, etc…

General picture:

Mole holes – pond – sailboats – blue sky – deer – tall trees – swans – lake – sunset – red couch – green field – soccer – friends – sport – laughter – water guns – pictures

The evening was sunny and full of soccer, waterguns, pictures, laughs and one big red couch. The place was very dutch: high grass field with mole holes, a huge lake full of swans and sailboats, a pond with tall grass in it, the sun setting behind the trees… it’ll leave a lasting impression in me. Beauty.

If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is because everything would be what it isn't.
And contrary-wise; what it is it wouldn't be, and what it wouldn't be, it would. You see? -- Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland
